Ceramlock 700 Marine is a pre-ceramic based resin coating formulated with antimicrobial additives to reduce environment growth and staining. Ceramlock reduces clean up efforts, offers great visuals, and reduces maintenance
Ceramlock 700 Marine can be applied to most non-porous surfaces including:
• Gelcoat/Paint/Vinyl
• Outboards
• Glass
• Polished metal
• Plastics
Regular washes will keep your vessel clean. Use a PH neutral soap and soft brush to avoid excessive wear. Avoid using harsh chemicals to increase the longevity of the coating. 700 can be re-applied at anytime to refresh properties in high activity areas. Ceramlock 600 is also a great option for refreshing the coating
A smooth applicator, preferably microfiber and a few clean microfiber towels.
700 should avoid getting rained on for at least 24 hours. Avoid launching the boat for use in fresh/saltwater for at least 3 days. Wait full 7 days before any exposure to soaps or chemicals. The longer the cure with no exposure to water, the more life you will get out of the coating. Full cure in 7 days
Every application will vary in lifespan. Location, usage, storage, and proper surface preparation are all factors to consider when estimating lifespan. The average user will see 12-14 months before touch ups are needed. Other untouched areas will last longer and high traffic areas may need reapplication more often
these ceramics were designed for industrial/commerical use; this is not what is sold to most consumers and outperforms other water based products from most major brands. i highly recommend trying their products as they will provide superior protection against the elements that cause corrosion and general ware.
